A.
Remove all parts from carton and separate them into part number groups as indicated in parts list.
B.
To begin assembly, place 5 Star Base (2) upside down and insert the Casters (1) into bottom of Base (2).
C.
Turn Base (2) right side up on the floor and insert the Gas Lift (4) into center hole on the Base (2).
D.
Place the Telescoping Cover (3) over the Gas Lift (4) and rest it on the Base (2).
E.
Take off the Knobs (14) with Washers (12 & 13) from the Arm Brackets (6A & 6B), insert the Arm Brackets (6A & 6B)
into the sockets on the bottom of Seat Cushion (7) and fasten by using the Knobs (14) with Washers (12 & 13) .
F.
Attach the Seat Plate (5) onto the bottom of the Seat Cushion (7) (with front of seat plate facing front of seat
cushion) by using 1-1/4" Screws (10) in the front holes of Seat Plate (5) and 1
” Screws (11) in the rear holes of Seat
Plate (5) and
tighten screws.
G.
Position the assembled chair upright with the seat plate facing down. Insert the Gas Lift (4) into the center hole of
the Seat Plate (5).
H.
Align Back Cushion (8) with Seat Cushion (7) by inserting Back Support Plate (9) into the rear hole of the Seat Plate
(5)
as shown in Diagram 1
and tighten by using the knob on the rear right side of the Seat Plate (5).
Check to make
sure the knob is loose before this step.
The chair is now ready for use.
I.
Periodically (every 90 days) tighten all screws in the chair.
ATTENTION: Be certain that all screws are fully tightened before using chair.
