Operation
Opening and closing the wing doors (fig. 2.3):
Pushthedooropener(2.3.1)inthemiddleunderneaththewing
doors.Youcanopenthewingdoorswhenthebuttonispushed.
Whenyouclosethedoors,besurethedoorslockintothedoor
openerbehindthelockerbar.
Opening and removing the wire gauze covers (fig. 4):
Unlockbothspringlocks(2.6.1)ofthecoverssimultaneously
andopenthecoverupwards(4.1).Incaseyouwishtotakethe
coverout,liftthecoverapprox.5cm(2in.)highuntilitcaneas-
ilypulledouttothefrontortotheback(4.2).Pleasedonotbend
thecoversfortakingthemout.Damagedcoverscanbere-
placed.Seesparepartslist.
Putting on the sera reptil terra top light hood (fig. 4):
Thelighthoodcanbeplacedonthefrontorbackcover.The
fourlatchpinsonthecovers(4.3)lieinsidethelatchbarsofthe
sera reptil terra top lighthood(4.4)andthusensuretheyre-
maininplacesafely.
Oneofthecoverscanalternativelybetakenout.The
sera reptil
terra top preciselyfitsintotheterrariumframe(4.5).Alsofollow
theinformationforuseofthe sera reptil terra top .
Operating the combination lock (fig. 5):
Thedefaultcodenumberis000(5.1).Holdthecombinationlock
withthelockerbardirectingtotheleft.Openthecombination
lockbyselecting000inthegrooveandfoldingthelockerbarto
theleft(5.2).Nowselectanothernumberbypushingthebutton
ontherightsidewithaballpen(5.3)whileitisopen.Memorize
theselectednumber.Pushtheboltof(5.4)thecombinationlock
through the eyes of the glass doors of the terrarium (2.3.2).
Closethelockandsetittoanothernumberthanthecodenum-
ber.Thecombinationlockisnowlocked.Setthelocktothe
previouslyenteredcodenumberforopeningthecombination
lock.Openthecombinationlockandtakeitoutoftheeyesof
theglassdoorsoftheterrarium.

Theglassdoorscanbepulledoutoftheirholders(6.1).Close
thedooryouwishtotakeout,butdonotallowittolockin.
Opentheotherdoor.Pullthecloseddoortotheright(6.2)orto
theleft,respectively.Thenopenthisdoortotheinsideandpush
itoutofthesupportingbar(6.1)totheback(6.3).Holdthepart
ofthedooryoupushedoutsoitdoesnotgetjammedandfalls
intotheterrariumtodoso.Pushthedoorentirelyoutofthe
frametotheback.Nowyoucantakethedooroutwithboth
hands.
Cleaning
Disconnectallelectricaldevicesconnectedinthe sera reptil
terra biotop 60 fromthemainssupply.Wipetheterrariumwith
amoistclothandaneutraldetergent.Donotuseanyabrasive
cleaningagentsnorsolvents.Makesurenowatergetsnear
electricconnectionsandcables.Allowtheterrariumtobecome
entirelydryagainbeforepluggingintheelectricaldevices.
Maintenance
Regularlycheckalllockingmechanisms,panesandhingesfor
unobjectionable condition. Damaged front doors or fold-up
gridsareavailableasspareparts.Seesparepartslist.
SAFETy PRECAUTIONS
• Disconnectallelectricitycarryingdevicesintheterrarium
fromthemainssupplybeforeconductinganyworkatthe
sera reptil terra biotop 60 .
• Neverleavechildrenwiththeterrariumwithoutsupervising
them,especiallyincasedangerousanimalsarebeingkept.
• Theterrariumisnotsuitableforstronganimalsthatshould
bekeptinacage.
• Makesurenoanimalsescapefromtheterrariumwhenopen-
ingtheterrariumdoorsorthecovers.
