USE

Install air vents in bin lids to
achieve safe decomposition for
3-6 months before out turning
to compost pile or burying.
See ’Vent Kit’
instructions.
Change the bin after
1 month OR when
contents are no less
than 20cm from the
underside of the
seat, whichever is
first.
Always place the lid
on the waste bin
before lifting from
the pedistal to avoid
spillage or contact
with the waste.
With the bag open,
add soil to the bin.
Place the lid with vent
installed, on the bin
and rest in a warm
position out of the
weather for 3-6 mths
or until the contents
are reduced by 50%,
odourless and dry.
Ideal daytime average
temp. is between
13ºC-42ºC, mean
average daytime
temp. is 24ºC, and
mean average relative
humidity is between
64%-82%.
Cooler temperatures
will result in longer
batch times.

Alt 1: If approved
by local authorities,
bury under at
least 30cms of soil
for 6-12 months,
where direct
access is restricted
and it will no
come into contact
with consumable
vegetation of
surface water.
If onsite burial is
not authorised,
waste removal by
approved operator
is required.
Alt 2: Add to
compost pile and
allow 6-12 months
to compost.
DO NOT USE
FINISHED COMPOST
ON FOOD CROPS.
Note: Children under the age of 5 years should use the Villa with the Separett Child Seat (available
as an optional extra).
• Always wear protective hand and face coverings and appropriate footwear when managing
waste from your toilet. Wash hands, and handling equipment thoroughally after use.

via soil, food crops, vegetation or
inhalation may be hazardous.
