3.3. Email Notifications
If using the iVML live video streaming feature, do not use DVR email.
If required by the customer, Seon DVRs can be configured to send emails when
certain events are recorded. An SMTP server is required to support network email
addresses.
When the DVR is in range of a network, an email will be sent, the alarm recording can
be viewed remotely, and the event can be addressed.
Set up the DVR to send emails locally or remotely using the following steps:
On-Screen Display Email Setup, on page 3–11
vMax Web Email Setup, on page 3–14.
3.3.1. On-Screen Display Email Setup
1. Power up the DVR using the vehicle ignition.
2. Connect monitor and mouse to the DVR.
3. In the DVR on screen display, right click to open the menu, click Configuration,
and then click System.
4. In the System Settings menu, click E-mail.
