Cleaning
The sensor can be cleaned with soap for a
smooth surface, which would increase the ease
of installation. The smoother the surface is,
the easier the sensor will slide in the soil.
The measurement surfaces can be
cleaned with an alcoholic cleaner.
Storage
Store the sensor in a dry place and don’t let the
measurement surfaces touch anything conductive.
When the sensor doesn’t measure anything it
will go into a sleep mode saving battery.
Cover the sharp point to avoid any injury.
Place the gateway close to the sensor.
Connect the antenna to the sensor. This
will avoid the sensor using battery power
to attempt to connect to the gateway.
Disposal
Dispose as an electronic product
according to local regulations.
