
Enabling and Pairing your Bluetooth device
With the unit turned on press and hold the multi-function button on the left-hand side of
the unit for 4 seconds. You will hear the message ‘bluetooth discoverable’ and the light
next to the button will turn blue constantly. Make sure the Short Range feature is turned
off.
Enter connectivity settings on your Bluetooth device and under Bluetooth search for new
devices. Once the search is complete select ‘Sensear SM’ to connect. The pair is complete
once you hear a bell tone in the headset. Tip: Calls can be answered, or ended, on the
device or via the multi function button on the headset. Short press of the multi-function
button to answer and long press of the multi-function to hang up. The Sensear headset
will connect to cell phones, bluetooth equipped two-way radios and tablets as well as
stream music.
Using short range FM headset to headset communications
Press the plus (+) and minus (-
) volume buttons simultaneously and you will hear ‘Short
Range FM on’. Tip: To transmit using short range use the multi function button on the left
hand earcup as a push to talk button.
The headset is preprogrammed from the factory with 8 default frequencies. You can
select between these 8 preprogrammed frequencies by performing a press and hold of
the volume (+) button (about 5 seconds). In the headset you will hear an announcement
of the new frequency being selected. Press and hold the (+) button again will take you to
the next frequency of the 8 preprogrammed frequencies and so forth.
Tip: select an unused frequency. One that does not have a radio station or other
interference playing on it.
