Putting the ASA 1 into operation
If you want to front mount the antennas:
Use the optional AM 2 antenna front mount kit (see
Accessories and spare parts on page 17).
If you want to use remote antennas (see Accessories and spare
parts on page 17):
Connect the remote antennas.
To mount the ASA 1 into the rack:
Slide the ASA 1 with the mounted blanking plate into the
19 rack.
Secure the rack mount ears
to the 19 rack.
If you are using the rod antennas
:
Align the antennas in a V-shape to obtain the best possible
reception.
