TROUBLESHOOTING

Before you decide to contact authorized service centre, read these following tips in the 
troubleshooting chart:

Possible cause

Recommended action

The engine will not 
start

  The supply cable is not connected 

correctly in the wall power outlet.

  The wall power outlet is damaged.
  The vacuum cleaner is not switched on.

  Inspect the supply cable plug.  

Make sure that it is fi rmly 
inserted in the wall outlet.

  Inspect the wall outlet.
 Turn the appliance on.

The suction output is 
insuffi cient

  Vacuum cleaner or its air passageways 

are clogged with dirt of foreign object.

  The dust fi lter needs cleaning.
  The dust container

 has been 

installed incorrectly, or in wrong 
position.

  Filter is clogged.

  Remove the clogging or foreign 

object.

  Clean the dust fi lter.
  Close the dust container

  Clean the fi lter.

The cable is not 
wound in completely.

The cable may have slipped down from 
the winding pulley during winding.

Hold the cable during the winding. 
Make sure to apply slight tension 
(by pulling the cable back) to the 
cable during the winding process.

The cable cannot be 
pulled out.

The cable is wound up incorrectly

Press the winding button

try to rewind the cable again.

The speed control is 
not working.

The appliance has been broken down.

Have the vacuum cleaner repaired 
by technician.
(only by qualifi ed technician)

The supply cable starts 
to wind in when you 
do not need that.

The winding mechanism has broken 
down.

The dust container

The dust fi lter is installed incorrectly or 
in incorrect position.

Reinstall and secure the fi lter in 
position and try again.
