Setting the BATCH LIMITS 

 

When using batch mode, BATCH LIMITS must be set previously.  All 
machine totals must be zero in order to set the BATCH LIMITS. 

 
To set the BATCH LIMITS, press the BATCH LIMIT button so it is 
illuminated.  Use the COIN SELECT button to select the coin 
denomination.  Use the TAB button to select the digit on the display 
to be set and use the UP button to increase the digit value. When the 
desired limit is selected, press the STORE button to save the limit 
and the display will step to the next denomination. 
 
Note:  BATCH LIMITS may be set from 1 to 30,000. 
 
Note:  BATCH LIMITS must be set when using the drawers included 
with the sorter to prevent the drawers from overfilling. The BATCH 
LIMITS for drawers should be set as follows: 
 
     Pennies:   150 
     Nickels:     

 

80 

     Dimes:    

 

250 

     Quarters:  200 
     Dollars:

When a BATCH LIMIT is Reached 

 
When a BATCH LIMIT is reached during counting, the machine will 
stop automatically and the coin indicator lamp corresponding to the 
denomination which has reached its limit will be illuminated.  The 
bag, package or drawer should be replaced or emptied at this time.  If 
desired, the BATCH LEVEL can be cleared manually or use the 
AUTO CLEAR mode to clear the full BATCH LEVELS automatically. 
 
 
 

Displaying the BATCH LEVELS 

 

When the BATCH LEVEL button is pushed, the BATCH LEVELS will 
be displayed.  Use the COIN SELECT button to display each 
denomination.

 

 
 
 

Clearing Counts 

 

CURRENT COUNT 
        Press the CLEAR button while in CURRENT COUNT mode (the 
        CURRENT COUNT button is illuminated).  
 
GRAND TOTAL 

    

 

Press the CLEAR button while in GRAND TOTAL mode (the 

        GRAND TOTAL button is illuminated).  
 
BATCH LEVEL 

    

Press the CLEAR button while in BATCH LEVEL mode (the 

       BATCH LEVEL button is illuminated).  

 

 

 Note: After pressing the CLEAR button the control panel will flash 

and you must press the CLEAR button again in order to clear the 
selected count(s).  If you do not wish to clear the selected 
count(s), press the CURRENT COUNT button while the control 
panel is flashing. 

 

  

Note: To clear all machine totals (MASTER CLEAR), press the 

       CLEAR button for four seconds then a second time when the 
       control panel flashes. 

Auto Clear Function 

 
When a BATCH LIMIT is reached (bag, package or drawer full) 
and the batch is removed (bag, package or drawer replaced or 
emptied) the BATCH LEVEL may be cleared manually or 
automatically.  If the AUTO CLR button is pressed and 
illuminated, the machine will clear this total automatically after 
the BATCH LIMIT is reached and the sorter is restarted. 
 
 

 
Other Functions

 

 

Auto Stop Function  

1.  When there is no change in the coin counts for three 

seconds while counting, the sorter will stop for one second 
and then restart again.  
 

2.  This will be repeated three times and then the motor will stop 

if there is no change in the coin counts. 

 

 

Cover Open Stop Function  

1.  When the hopper cover or sorter cover is open, the sorter 

will not move even when the MOTOR button is pressed. 

The cover open indication 

 will appear on 

the display. 
  

2.  If the hopper cover or sorter cover is opened during counting, 

the motor will stop and the cover open indication will appear.  
 

To restart operation, press the MOTOR button after closing the
