Operating Instructions: (Refer to Figure 1)
1. Attach the antenna to its RF connector on the receiver. The maximum torque required is only 10 in/lbs. Take care to not over-
torque the connector. If you are using dipole antennas (linearly polarized), please ensure that the antennas for both the
transmitter and the receiver are similarly aligned (i.e. horizontal or vertical).
2. VIDEO OUTPUT -- Designed to mate to a standard BNC male connector, this provides a 1 Volt peak-to-peak video signal
output. This is a line level output. RCA to BNC adapters are available for use with some monitors and VCR inputs.
3. DUAL AUDIO OUTPUTS -- Designed to mate to a standard BNC male connector, this provides a 1 Volt peak-to-peak audio
output and should be terminated in a 600 ohm load, as is found in most ”line in” audio inputs. RCA to BNC adapters are
available for use with some monitors and VCR inputs.
4. POWER INPUT -- Accepts a 12 VDC power source. The nominal current draw is 350 milli-amperes. Optional AC/DC power
sources are available.
The system should be properly functioning at this time and the video and audio signal should be present at the monitor/VCR.
NOTE: The system is not waterproof. Optional outdoor mounting enclosures are available from third party manufacturers.
