SSD MAINTENANCE

Note:

This section only pertains to Model 0101 units that were purchased with the SSD Kit Option. To determine if
your Crusher was purchased with an SSD Kit see the section in this manual regarding

Determining if your

Crusher is Capable of Destroying SSD Media

.

Inside the Crusher Chamber

SEM recommends that the SSD Anvil be replaced as needed depending on type and quantity of media being
destroyed.

Warning:
If the Anvil is not replaced, it could cause damage to the hydraulic ram and void the warranty.

Prior to removing or installing the SSD Anvil, make sure that the Crusher's power cord has been
unplugged from the electrical outlet!

It is also recommended to use gloves when removing or installing the SSD Anvil as the SSD Anvil has
many sharp tines!
