Pull all the cable out and check carefully that

no excessive corrosion appears (B)

no wire of the cable is broken (C)

the ferrules are not damaged (D)

Check that the fall indicator is intact. (E)

Important

The load arrestor may be damaged if you let the cable wind back up into the casing without
holding the wire.
