When using a 5.5-13
0
lens tube, the assembled Pacific should be hung from the 5.5-13
0
lens tube
yoke. Rotate the yoke on the dowser so that it is in a similar position to the one shown in the diagram
above. This keeps the yoke out of the way and helps to counter balance the Pacific.
Slide the lamp house sideways into place into the lamp house slot and screw the lens tube locking
knob into the lamp house, securing the lamp house and dowser together. Next, insert the lens tube
into the lens tube holder of the dowser and screw the lens tube locking knob into the dowser’s lens
tube locking knob fixing point.
Powercon Connector
The dowser comes supplied with a Powercon connector for the mains power supply.
This connector can be plugged into the Powercon socket that is fitted on the MSR ballast power
supply. If you wish to power the dowser separately from the MSR ballast power supply, the connector
will need to be changed by a suitably qualified technician.
The Cable Conductor colour codes are as follows:
Brown
- Phase, Live
Blue -

Green/Yellow
