4 PREPARING THE DEVICE
4.1 Unpack
1. Carefully unpack the device. If you open the packaging with
a knife or other sharp object be aware that you may damage
the grooming kit.
2. Follow the instructions for disposal of packaging materials
in chapter 9 – DISPOSAL.
3. Check if the device or parts have any damages.
4. Check if content comprises all operating elements, see
chapter 2 – CONTENT.
5. Set up the charging base on an even, dry and anti-slip
surface.
4.2 Charge battery
Before the first use or if the clipper / trimmer / shaver has not
been used over a longer period of time the battery should be
fully charged. Charging time is approx. 90 minutes. The device
with fully charged battery has a working time of approx. 60
minutes. Make sure that the device is turned off during the
charging process.
The device can be charged in two ways:
1. Via charging base (6): Connect the power cord (15) with the
port provided underneath the charging base. Only after-
wards plug the mains adapter (14) into a socket. Place the
device into the charging base and set it onto the charging
contact.
