Adjusting sensitivity
Connect jumper C. Note: If the detector battery is almost empty, the LED
flashes continuously for calibration mode (Fig.1, 6). In this case, replace
the battery.
1.
Turn the potentiometer (Fig.1, 4) anticlockwise until it stops. The
detector is now at the lowest sensitivity level.
2.
Tap the sensor with your hand. Tap it hard enough to trigger an
alarm.
The calibration mode LED (Fig.1, 6) flashes
1x for a small vibration,
2x for a vibration that triggers an alarm and
3x for a strong vibration.
3.
Adjust the potentiometer until the LED (Fig.1, 6) flashes 2x at every
vibration in the sensitivity range.
4.
Remove jumper A if the sensor does not register all vibrations in the
desired sensitivity range.
5.
Remove jumper C when you have set the sensor to the desired
sensitivity. This puts the sensor into normal operating mode.
