TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Dispenser does not power on
Make sure the batteries are placed in the battery 1.
compartment correctly and that they are fresh.
Check if the multi-function button has been pressed. 2.
Motor works but no soap is dispensed
If this is the fi rst use of the dispenser, place your hand 1.
underneath the infrared sensor (within 3.9 inches) several
times until the soap begins to dispense from the spout.
Liquid soap can become congealed in the spout or

dispensing tube due to lack of use of the dispenser, or
from cold/dry weather. If that has occurred, pour out any
soap remaining in the liquid soap bottle, fi ll with warm
soapy water and then operate the dispenser several times
until the water begins to dispense from the spout. Pour
out any remaining soapy water and refi ll the liquid soap
bottle with liquid soap.
Confi rm that you are using liquid soap that is: 3.
Non-foaming •
Non-granular •
Low in alcohol (Do not use with hand sanitizer due to •
high alcohol content.)
