Check that the monitor is powered up. 

 

Check that the video cable connecting the camera to the 
monitor is connected properly. 

 

Check that the wiring distance does not exceed 230ft (70m) 

The screen image is dim. 

 

Clean the lens using a soft, clean cloth. 

 

Check that the light source is adequate 

The screen image has poor color tone 
or flickers 

 

Adjust the monitor’s color tone. 

 

Adjust the monitor’s brightness. 

 

Change the position of the camera. 

 

Use untwisted wire and make sure the wiring distance does 
not exceed 230ft (70m) 

The screen image is distorted.

Check End-of-Line resistor jumper is adjusted correctly on all 
monitor 

The camera case is hot. 

 

Check that the correct power supply is in use. 

LEDs do not turn on. 

 

Check that the correct power supply is in use (18VDC). 

 

Check that the wiring distance does not exceed 230ft (70m) 

Lock button does not operate the relay
