WIRING INSTRUCTIONS FOR GARAGE DOOR OPERATORS
•
Determine available Power supply from existing garage door operator – the Seav receiver can accept
either a 12Volt or 24Volt AC or DC power supply. The receiver is supplied to accept a 24Volt power supply
as default. If the only power supply available is a 12 Volt supply only, then the small jumper at position
'J1' (to the left of the SW1 switch) will need to be moved to position 'J1' 1 and 2
•
The terminals on the Seav receiver are from left to right:
Terminal 1 - 12V or 24V power supply in
Terminal 2 – 0V (Common)
Terminal 3 – Channel 1 -Push button, Start contact (n.o)
Terminal 4 – Channel 1 - 0V (Common)
Terminal 5 – Channel 2 – Push button, Start contact (n.o)
Terminal 6 – Channel 2 – 0V (Common)
Terminals 3 and 4 are to be used for single channel only
Terminals 5 and 6 are to be used for second channel (second device or latching option)

'SW1' switch – To enable Monostable operation (single channel) or Timed delay or Bistable
The unit is set for Monostable as default – only for device wired into Channel 1 (Terminals 3 and 4) – both
switches are in the down position
When Channel 2 is connected into Terminals 5 and 6 (for second device or for timed delay), there is the
option for two time delays
30 second timed delay by switching 'SW1' switch 1 down and switch 2 up, or
60 second timed delay by switching 'SW1' switch 1 up and switch 2 down
Or to enable the control of two independant devices the 'SW1' switch 1 and switch 2 should be up

Programming Transmitters
The receiver can accept up to 120 individual remote control transmitters
To program a transmitter in the standard single channel mode, simply press 'SEL' button once and the
LED 'CH1 Code' should start to flash, now hold the transmitter a distance away from the receiver and
press the desired button on the transmitter. The LED 'CH1 Code' should remain lit for a short period to
show that it has been coded successfully. This process can then be repeated for additional transmitters.
To program a transmitter into the Second Channel, simply press 'SEL' button twice and the LED 'CH2
Code' should start to flash, now hold the transmitter a distance away from the receiver and press the
desired button on the transmitter. The LED 'CH2 Code' should remain lit for a short period to show
