Please read the whole installation manual before starting the installation.
Unpacking
Before you start using the unit you must ensure that the packaging has not been broken or
have been injured during transport and that the product is complete and without any visible
sign of damage or strained. If this is not the case please contact SuperSail before using the
product.
Mounting
The Float Switch is placed a suitable place by the water tank, under the floor or where you
want to be alarmed if water is present.
The Float Switch is mounted with screws or with for instance heavy two-sided tape.
If the Alarm system is connected to SuperSail Alarm Connection Box, the two conductors in
the cable from the float switch are mounted to the two mounting terminals/clamps in input #1
or Input #2, dependent on which one is available. It is not important which conductor is
connected to which mounting terminal/clamp as long as both conductors from the float switch
are connected to separate mounting terminal/clamp for the same entrance.
If the Alarm system is not connected to SuperSail Alarm Connection Box, the two conductors
from the float switch are connected as follows:
If Input #1 is used:
One conductor from the float switch is connected to WHITE conductor in the cable
from the Alarm system.
The other conductor from the float switch is connected to GREEN conductor in the
cable from the Alarm system.
