Apply

downward

pressure

on

idler pulley

(N)

until excess slack in belt is taken

up. Retighten bolt (M).

NOTE:

Misalignment

of pitman drive belt may be

noticed; however, special grooved pulleys are designed

to compensate for this misalignment
