5.1. Before use, ensure lift is fixed to the floor to prevent the lift from sliding. Check that the unit is level.
5.2. Wheel motorcycle up the leading plate onto the platform.
p
WARNING!
if motorcycle is fitted with a faring ensure there is adequate clearance between the bottom of the faring and the point
where the leading plate and platform meet (fig 4). Failure to do so may cause damage to the faring .
5.3. Secure the motorcycle on the platform by passing the chain through the front wheel to lock.
5.4. To lift the platform, turn the air regulator valve (fig 1 F) to the up position. After lifting, return the lever to the horizontal (neutral) position.
5.5. When lifted to required height, insert the safety locking pin (fig 2 H) in the appropriate hole to prevent accidental lowering of platform.
5.6. When work is complete, check under the platform to ensure there are no obstructions and that it is safe to lower the unit.
5.7. Remove the safety locking pin.
5.8. To lower turn the air regulator valve to the down position.

MC450 - 0025 - 030897
4.1. Ensure the air valve is in the "off" position before connecting to the air supply.
4.2.
p
WARNING!
Ensure the air supply does not exceed 140PSI while operating the lift. Too high an air pressure and unclean
air will shorten the product life due to excessive wear, and may be dangerous causing possible damage and personal injury.
4.3. Drain the air tank daily. Water in the air line will damage the lift.
4.4. Clean the air inlet filter screen weekly. The recommended hook-up procedure can be viewed in fig 3.
4.5. Line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hoses (over 8 metres). The minimum hose diameter should
be 10mm I.D. and fittings must have the same inside dimensions.
4.6. Keep hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Check hoses for wear, and make certain that
all connections are secure.
