4. OPERATION
Note: LED arrays are designed to allow individual LEDs to cease functioning
without causing the entire array to fail. This could be as a result of shock or
impact. Shock or impact will invalidate warranty.
4.1
Direct the lens away from your eyes before switching on.
Their are two buttons in the switch the top button with an upward facing
arrow turns on the 7 LED array on the top of the lamp. The downward facing
arrow turns on the 30 LED array. See Fig.1.
4.2
Suspend the lamp by the hanging hook. When the lamp is hanging from the
hook it can be rotated through 360° for more precise positioning.
4.3
Alternatively use the integral magnet on the rear of the lamp (Fig.2) to attach
to any ferrous surface.
Note: Fully charge the lamp before first use.
3.1
Connect the charger into the charging port (Fig.1) on the bottom of the lamp.
Plug into power supply and turn on, the charging LED (Fig.1) will light
RED to show charging has commenced.
3.2
When the battery has fully charged the LED will
change to GREEN.
Environmental Protection.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste.
All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a
recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the
environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an
environmentally protective way.
Battery Removal
Remove the 4 screws on the back of the lamp (Fig.2) and the four
screws on the top of the lamp surrounding the 7 LED array. Remove the
back casing, and disconnect the wiring to the charger port and from the
battery to the circuit board.
Dispose of batteries according to local
authority guidelines
.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1
Keep the inspection lamp free from dirt and grease, use a damp cloth and a
mild detergent. Do not submerge the lamp in water or subject it to any acids
or detergent that may degrade the materials of the lamps construction.
