4.  charging

4.1.    

the battery fitted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable item and its ability to accept charge will reduce over time. We will           

  

warranty it against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year, this does not cover fair wear and tear. if the battery is not  

 

properly charged before first use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish. under these circumstances we will not replace the  

 

battery even if it is less than one year old. 

4.2.    

connect the charger into the charge socket on the  lamp. Plug into power supply and turn on.

4.3.    

When the battery has fully charged (approx 5.5hrs) disconnect from mains supply.

 

 

note: the lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once fully charged may be stored for up to six months without another  

   charge. 

5.  operation

5.1.    

open the light to the required angle. 

5.2.    

Position the floodlight in the area that requires illumination.

5.3.    

this led floodlight develops minimal heat and is not subject to the same restrictions that apply to halogen lamps that become too hot to  

 

touch. We do however recommend that the floodlight should not be placed in cramped or restrictive situations and recommend the    

 

following minimum distances between the light and any surface/object. 

 

 

● 500mm minimum between the top of the light and any overhead surface, or objects.

 

 

● 200mm between sides of light and end or side walls, surfaces or objects. 

 

● 1 metre minimum between the front of the light and any object to be illuminated.

5.4.    

to operate press button on top of light, 50% illumination, press again 100% illumination, press again single lamp economy mode, press  

 

again for off.

5.5.    

the charge remaining in the battery is indicated by the battery charge indicator (four lights fully charged, one light low charge).

 ensure the light is disconnected from the mains power supply when not in use  ensure that the unit is cool and dry and  

  is stored in a cool, dry, childproof area.  

       

6.  Maintenance

6.1.    

clean the casing externally (

not the glass

) with a moist cloth.

do not

 use solvents or abrasives. 

6.2.    

if necessary clean the glass with alcohol and a soft cloth.

recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, 

taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.

dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the eu directive on Waste electrical and electronic 

equipment (Weee). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.

battery removal

 

  

remove the 4 screws on the back of the lamp. remove the back casing and disconnect the wiring.

                          remove screws to remove the battery. dispose of according to local government guidelines.
