4.  OPERATION

 

IMPORTANT

: Only use the cable supplied with the product.

4.1.    

CHARGING

4.1.1. 

  

Insert the Micro USB plug into the power inlet on the rear of the lamp (fig.2).

4.1.2.   

Plug the other end of the USB cable into a 5V USB outlet.

DO NOT

 turn lamp on whilst charging.

4.1.3. 

  

The charge indicator (fig.2) will blink during charging. When fully charged the indicator will be on continuously. 

 

4.2.    

USE OF SPOTLIGHT/LANTERN 

(Handle arrangement closed)

 

4.2.1.   

Direct the lens away from your eyes, other people and animals before switching on. 

4.2.2. 

  

Slide the ON/OFF switch (fig.1) up one ‘click’ for LOW lantern mode, again for HIGH lantern mode. Once more for spotlight. Slide  

 

the switch back to its starting position to turn the whole unit off. 

4.3.    

USE OF DESK LAMP 

(Handle arrangement open)

4.3.1. 

  

Open handle by pressing the head release button on lens housing front face (fig.2).

4.3.2. 

  

Adjust orientation of lamp and arm to suit required illumination. Lamp can be rotated if required (fig.3, fig.4).

4.3.3. 

  

Slide the ON/OFF switch (fig.1) up once for LOW lamp mode, again for HIGH lamp mode. Sliding the switch one more time turns   

off the lamp and turns on the torch. Slide the switch back to its starting position to turn the whole unit off.

4.4.    

USE OF CHARGING OUTPUT

4.4.1. 

  

Connect the USB cable of device to be charged to the charging output port in the unit’s body (fig.2).

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to 
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely 

unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids 

according to local regulations.

WEEE REGULATIONS

Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment 

(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid 

waste authority for recycling information.

BATTERY REMOVAL

Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products 

containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s registered compliance scheme. Jack 
Sealey Ltd’s Batteries Producer Registration Number (BPRN) is BPRN00705.
