WARNING! Before attempting any maintenance ensure the unit is unplugged from the mains power supply.
6.1.
Keep the machine clean and dry.
DO NOT
use abrasives to clean the unit. ensure all external head screws are tight.
6.2.
clean regularly by blowing a jet of compressed air through side vents to ensure motor ventilation is kept clear.

Before use, ensure that you have read and understood Section 1 Safety.
6.1.
Attach the backing pad. (see section 5.2.2.)
6.2.
Plug the polisher into the mains power supply.
6.3.
With the polisher firmly held by the side handle and away from the workpiece, turn the polisher on by squeezing the trigger (fig.4).
Pressing in the "run" button (fig.3 and fig.4) will hold the trigger and allow for continuous running. Finally release the trigger.
6.4.
to stop the polisher, squeeze the trigger, the "run" button will spring out and the polisher will stop.
6.5.
the speed of the polisher can be adjusted using the variable speed dial recessed in the top face (fig.3). slide the dial forward to
increase the speed or backward to reduce the speed (fig.3).
6.6.
check that the unit is working correctly before use.
