5.1.
When the vice is not in use, the front jaw should be screwed in so that it is just touching the back jaw.
5.2.
Keep the vice clean and lubricate all moving parts with oil/grease on a regular basis.
5.3.
Before each use check the vice is securely mounted on the work surface and inspect for any visible damage. if any suspect item is
found, remove vice from service and take the necessary action to remedy the problem.
