CMOS Battery

The R2 SYNC includes a 3V DC type CR2032 battery that supplies the RTC and CMOS memory of the COM
Express CPU module.

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced

–

Replace only with the same or equivalent type

recommended

by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer’s

instructions.

To fulfill the requirements of EN 60950, the R2 SYNC incorporates two current-limiting devices (resistor and
diode) in the battery power supply path.

System Description

The following I/O connectors use industry standard pin outs for maximum compatibility.
