Disabling Maximum Overdrive
You can disable Maximum Overdrive during the installation proc-
ess or anytime afterward.
To disable it during the installation, select the Change Install
Features option in the Options dialog box that appears when the
format completes. This feature allows you to enable or disable
Maximum Overdrive.
To disable it after the drive has been installed.
1. Insert the EZ-Drive diskette into the diskette drive.
2. Type ez at the command line.
3. Press
ENTER
until the Select Installation Type dialog box
appears.
4. Use the down arrow key to select Change Install Features.
5. Press
ENTER
.
6. The first selection gives the current Maximum Overdrive
status. Press the
ENTER
key to change the status.
7. Use the down-arrow key to select Save Changes. Press
ENTER
to save.

able when you select Information Help in the Select Installation
Type dialog box.
Answers to frequently asked troubleshooting questions are avail-
able in the EZ-HELP.EXE file on the diskette.
