Keep this in mind, should a gas container spill in your dinghy
this pump will transfer the gas overboard as it does for water.
You are responsible for the over-board discharge of all
hazardous materials.
Storage:
To maximize the amount of water which is removed from the dinghy
this unit has a unique time delay feature. Using this feature will keep
the pump running even after the float switch itself turns off. The time
delay is set for approximately 100 seconds which starts when the
pump starts. For most dinghy sizes the pump will run for 50 seconds
then the float switch will close, then the remaining water is drained
out of the boat using the delay feature to run for another 50 seconds.
The timer circuit will not use any power when the pump is off.
At the end of the season remove the Solar Pump from the boat.
During the winter keep it inside to avoid freezing temperatures. At
the beginning of the next season place the Solar Pump in the sunlight
for a few weeks before putting it back in the dinghy or manually
charge the battery. (Replace battery after 3 to 4 years of use).
Notes:
Time Delay:
The time delay has an adjustable range of 48 to 463 seconds. If you
would like to change the time; remove pump cover and the time delay
module cover. See figure 4. When adjusting the trim pot on the PC
Board turning the trim pot clockwise will add time and turning trim pot
counter clockwise will subtract time. See figure 5.
Do not sit on the Solar Bilge Pump.
Do not submerge pump under water. This pump is designed to
maintain a low level of water in your dinghy not refloat it.

Liability is limited to repairing or replacing at our factory, without charge, any material or defects which become
apparent in normal use within 1 year from the date the equipment was shipped. Equipment is to be returned,
shipping charges prepaid and will be returned, after repair, shipping charges paid. If unit was submerged under
water warranty is void.
