Installing the JAVA

Runtime Environment

(JRE) Software

This section describes the installation of the JRE.

JAVA Runtime Environment (JRE) software must be installed to use the SGM
software.

JRE 32-bit software is required to use the SGM on Windows 7 64-bit OS. Having JRE
64-bit software on your system is allowed, but not required.

Navigate to the Java folder and select the JAVA installation file for the appropriate
operating system of the PC.

Double click the file to begin the installation process.

Observe the JRE installation begins. Installation files may be unpacked during an
automated process.

When prompted, select ACCEPT to agree to the User License Agreement and
proceed with the installation. See
