The installation height and position of your rangehood will affect its performance. Schweigen
recommends the rangehood be installed as close to the front of the cabinetry as possible. This
will increase extraction efficiency as there will be greater coverage of the cooktop surface area.
As the diagram below shows, if deeper overhead cabinetry is built, and the rangehood is installed
to the front of the cabinetry, a greater amount of air is extracted.
