Maintenance
Under normal conditions, no special maintenance is necessary,
however it is recommended that periodic inspections be per-
formed to assure long-lasting performance and to assure that un-
expected damage has not occurred. For a schedule and items that
should be visually inspected at regular intervals
Spare parts are available from SCHUNK. Please call for
recommendations.
NOTICE
The cleanliness of the work environment strongly influences the
trouble-free operation of the changer. The dirtier the environ-
ment, the greater the need for protection against debris.
Protection of the entire End of Arm Tooling, the SWK, the SWA
and all of the modules may be necessary. Protective measures
include the following:
• Placement of Tools Stands away from debris generators.
• Covers incorporated into the Tool Stands, guards, deflectors,
air curtains, and similar devices the End of Arm Tooling and
the Tool Stand Design.
Preventive Maintenance
The Tool Changer and optional modules are designed to provide a
long life with regular maintenance. A visual inspection and preven-
tive maintenance schedule is provided in the following Table be-
low depending upon the application. Assembly details are pro-
