Outdoor lamp - TRUST WALL

In case of damages caused by not paying attention to this manual, the warranty expires immediately. For damages resulting from that, we don’t take any responsibility. This
manual is to be read carefully before commissioning this product and it should be kept for further information.
Warnings:
•
If you assume that operating the system without danger is no longer possible, you have to disconnect the system and protect it against unintentional use. You may assume that
a safe operation is no longer possible if:
-the product or the connecting attachment or lead show visible damages.
-the system/product doesn’t work anymore
-after a longer storage under unfavourable conditions
-after heavy transportation stress
In this case, please contact your local dealer or another qualified electrician.

In case that due to external influence, humidity entered into the product, the product doesn’t work anymore, please disconnect it from mains and contact an expert.There is
the danger of fire and a live-endangering electrical shock.
•
Products which are operated on mains voltage don’t belong into the hands of children. Never leave the packing material unattended. Plastic foils and bags, pieces of
polystyrene and similar may become a dangerous toy for children.
Duly Use:
This product is permitted for connection to 230V/50 Hz alternating voltage. This product is suitable for outdoor use! Any other use than the described one will damage the
product and can evoke dangers like short-circuit, fire, electrical shock etc. The whole product may neither be changed, rebuild nor opened in order to assure the observance
of the security class. The security advises have to be followed!
Security Advises:
•
The construction of this product is according to security class II. To keep this condition and to assure a safe operating of the product, the user has to follow the security
advises and warnings which are included in this manual.
•
On mounting the product, please make sure that the connecting attachment is neither squeezed no damaged by sharp edges.
•
When opening covers or removing parts, live ends may be exposed. Connecting points may also be leading. The product must be disconnected from all power sources before
adjustment, installation, maintenance or repair. If repairs to a live open part is unavoidable, this has to be done by a qualified electrician, who is familiar with the associated
risks and regulations..
•
Disconnect the product from mains before cleaning it or changing a bulb.
•
If you have any doubts about the connection of the product or if you have any questions which are not explained in this manual, please contact your local dealer or another
qualified electrician.
•
Place the product on a stable surface.
•
Use only the included components for the product.
•
Never replace a damaged power cord by yourself. Disconnect the product from mains and contact a qualified electrician.
•
Take special care in the presence of children, especially when they try to introduce objects into the housing There is the danger of a live-endangering electrical shock.
•
Avoid a steady mechanical use of the lamp.
•
When using tools for the installation of this product, pay attention to the security advises of the tool manufacturer.
•
Products which are not used for a longer time have to be switched off, either by pulling the mains plug or by a switch, which is connected to the primary circuit of the power
supply unit. If plug and7or switch are not reachable, e.g. due to installation, an allpole disconnecter has to be installed.
General:
The outdoor lamp TRUST WALL offers with its streamlined, actual design an alternative to ordinaryl outdoor lamps. An economical and powerful operation is guaranteed by
the use of 5 – 11 Watt E 27 energy saving bulbs.The housing is made of high-grade steel 1.4401, X5 CrNiMo 18 10 and is corrosion, acid- and salt water resistant.
The lampshade is made of satin UV-stabilised synthetic material with a high-grade steel cap.
Operation/Assembly:
This outdoor lamp is suitable for use with energy saving bulbs from 5 – 11 W, the position of the bulb holder is for an energy bulb with 7 W. For using a higher (9-11W)
or lower (5 W) energy saving bulb, it is necessary to adapt the bulb holder to the bulb before assembly.
Please follow the following steps::
a)
Remove the satin lampshade (1).
b)
The plastic housing inside the tube has to be demounted from the bottom with a tool (5).
c)
Unscrew the waterproof cable inlet (8).
d)
Remove the plastic ring (7) and the rubber sealing (6)
e)
Unscrew (with a screwdriver) the black plastic nut from the bulb holder and remove it (3).
Turn down the bulb holder (with a pliers) for higher energy saving bulbs (9 – 11 W) and turn up the bulb holder for lower energy saving bulb (5 W).
For assembly follow the alphabetical order backwards.
Fix the mounting place. The outdoor lamp has the class of protection IP 55; that means that the lamp is dust and splash proof. The high-grade steel tube has to be mounted
the way that it covers, but not squeezes the outlet of the connection cable.
Fasten the mounting bracket (9) with the included screws, so that the bracket is in vertical position with the bended end on top. Hang the lamp into the mount and push the
lamp down until the high-grade steel housing will be even at the wall. Now sign the bore for the mounting for the lower fixing screw.,then get off the lamp and do the bore in
sufficient dimensions.
Installation should only be done by a qualified electrician who is familiar with the general safety regulations..Now connect the blue cable of the lamp with the blue cable of
the connecting cord, the brown or black cable of the connecting cord with the brown cable of the lamp. Pay attention that the connections are installed in a waterproof
connecting box. All screws have to be fastened tightly.
After installation hang the lamp into the mount and screw it to the wall.
Changing of the bulbs::
Turn off the lampshade left-handed. Put in the bulb (E 27 energy saving bulb max. 11 Watt, TC-D).After changing the bulb, you have to fastened the lampshade tightly.
Maintenance::
Please check from time to time the outdoor lamp for damages! In such a case, pleas follow the security advises.
In case of problems, you have to contact your local dealer or a qualified electrician. Repairs have to be done by a qualified electrician only.
