Television (optional)
To turn television ON:
– Press TV key (4)
– Television is turned on
– the last channel watched will
be indicated on the display (3)
Choosing a program:
– directly using the numeric keypad (13)
or using the program selection
keys (9) or (10) sequentially
TV sound:
– via the loudspeaker (2) or
headphones (connection socket 23)
– optionally using TV device loudspeaker
Volume:
– Use the – key (7) to decrease volume
– Use the +key (8) to increase volume
Teletext ON/OFF:
– Press Teletext key (16)
– Select page using numeric keypad (13)
– To leave teletext mode, press
the teletext key (16) again
Blinds control (optional)
– Press special function key (15)
– Display (3) shows special functions
– Select “blinds” function using the
program selection keys (9) or (10)
– Using the –/+keys (7) and (8)
or the OK key (12)
the blinds can be opened and closed
Call service staff
– Press service call key (14)
– The lamp next to the service call key
lights up
The service staff will either contact you through
the loudspeaker (2) or will come to you in person.
Nurse call
To call nurse:
– Press call key (1)
– Call key (1) lights up
Nurse answers:
– Gong sounds over loudspeaker (2)
– Call key (1) flashes
– Speak to the nurse using the loudspeaker (2)
and microphone (22) (like when telephoning)
– Nurse then ends the call
Radio
To turn radio ON:
– Press radio key (5)
– the last radio program listened to
will be indicated on the display (3)
Choosing a program:
– Select the program using the
program keys (9) or (10)
– Selected program appears
on the display (3)
Radio sound:
– via the loudspeaker (2) or
headphones (connection socket 23)
Volume:
– Use the – key (7) to decrease volume
– Use the +key (8) to increase volume
To turn radio OFF:
– Press radio key (5)
Turn light ON/OFF
Room light (optional):
– Press room light key (18) briefly
– Room light is turned on/off
Reading light (optional):
– Press reading light key (20) briefly
– Reading light is turned on/off
