Utilisation

GFE 631

• The control panel (Diagram 4) is situated next to the
lamp covers and has two control switches: one for
controlling the fan power and an ON-OFF switch for
illuminating the cooking area.
Moving the fan switch to the right increases the fan
power. 
For the best performance, we recommend using the
low speeds in normal conditions and the high speeds
in particular cases of strong odour and vapour
concentration.

• It is advisable to switch on the extractor hood a few
minutes before starting cooking and then to leave it
running for some minutes afterwards to ensure that all
odours are extracted.

ON/OFF lighting command:

this command

functions even with the hood in the Off position.  

First speed command/OFF:

Press and release

the key to activate it.

Second speed command:

Press and release

the key to activate it. 

Third speed command:

Press and release the

key to activate it.

Intensive speed command:

pressing and

releasing this key the suction hood operates at
intensive speed for 5 minutes, then returns
automatically to the previous state set

Fat filters signal:

this command flashes after 40

hours (green Led): the fat filters are saturated
and should be cleaned.

Carbon filter signal:

this command flashes after

160 hours (red Led). 

Press 

for 3 seconds to reset both the signals. At

the end of the operation the signals disappear and a
beep sounds, after which the hood goes into standby.

Enabling the filter carbon signal

. Press the key 

and 

contemporaneously for 3 seconds (with the

hood in standby) to enable this function: the green Led
will begin to flash, after a second the green Led and
the red Led will flash alternatively. At the end a beep
will indicate that the function has been correctly set.  
This operation must be repeated whenever you want to
remove the carbon filter signal 

Timer

It is possible to time the speed by pressing 

or 

, for 1 second, corresponding to the key

(the selected key flashes during timing):

first speed: 

20 minutes

second speed: 

15 minutes

third speed: 

10 minutes

fourth speed: 

5 minutes

The hood returns to standby at the end of timing. 
Press and release the previously selected key to annul
timing.
