NSTALLATION AND ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
4.1 I
NSTALLATION
Before the installation of the appliance, observe the following:
Inspect the unit for any defect or damage sustained in transit.
Check all screw connections for tightness.
Familiarize yourself with the Instructions for Use and with the conditions for the safe operation of this
appliance.
Practice:
Make sure there is adequate ventilation/air circulation above the coated quartz built-in module. The
complete device must be protected against heat congestion and waste heat, if necessary through suita-
ble cooling or ventilation.
Install the coated quartz built-in module horizontally.
If several coated quartz built-in modules are installed side by side, then the on-site construction must
withstand the thermal impact of the waste heat.
Always observe:
During installation make sure that there is sufficient safety distance from combustible materials such as
wood, plastic, etc. for the subsequent operation of the coated quartz built-in module.
Safety distances from combustible materials:
upward
min. 200 mm
downward
min. 400 mm
sideward
