9 Maintenance
9.1 General notes
Please read section 1.6 (Requirements & instructions for installation,
maintenance and operating staff) before starting maintenance.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to system maintenance by untrained personnel
Serious injury may result
► The system must only be maintained by trained personnel who have read and
understood the operating instructions.
Before performing maintenance, ensure that the system is switched off and cannot be switched on
again with authorization. You must use work stands or platforms for maintenance work that cannot be
performed from the floor. Secure the scissor arm against uncontrolled movement.
This does not apply if the maintenance and inspection work can only be carried while the unit is
switched on (e.g. function tests of the electrical system or safety features) or if the following conditions
apply while the work is carried out:
1. No risk of injury from crushing or falling
2. No risk of touching live electrical parts in systems and operating equipment
WARNING
Risk of injury from worn, unmaintained parts
Worn and unmaintained parts can cause damage, resulting in failure of the
vacuum tube lifter and potentially causing severe injury.
► Observe the operating, maintenance and servicing requirements specified in
these operating instructions.
9.2 Spare parts
Refer to bill of material in the appendix.
The replacement of original parts by parts of other origin releases the
manufacturer from its liability.
