Make sure the heating element is constantly surrounded by water when installing
and operating it.
4.
Press the heating element with the holders into the desired position on the surface.
Connection to socket
5.
Plug the mains plug of the heating element into the socket.
Connection to thermostat
6.
Plug the mains plug of the heating element into a suitable thermostat (e. g. SCHEGO
thermostat TR2, art. no. 113).
Dismantling the heating element

Unplug the mains plug of the heating element (Fig. 1/5) from the socket or the ther
-
mostat
2.
Allow the heating element (Fig. 1/2) to cool down completely and make sure the
heating element has cooled down before touching it.
3.
Dismount the heating element by detaching the suction cups from the surface.
4.
Place the heating element on a non-flammable, moisture-resistant surface.
Maintenance instructions
Regularly remove any deposits (limescale) from the heating element with a (wire)
brush, a cleaning cloth or sand paper to prevent any encrustation on or damage to
the heating element.
If the cable (Fig. 1/4) is damaged, replace the entire heating element. The connecting
line cannot be replaced separately.
Disposal
When the end of life of the heating element is reached, dispose of it and all ac
-
cessories in accordance with the applicable environmental regulations. Electri
-
cal waste must not be disposed of together with domestic waste.
ATTENTION:
The heating element can become destroyed by incorrect voltage.
- Connect the heating element only if the voltage of your socket is 230 V/120 V
(Fig. 2) alternating current.
ATTENTION:
The thermostat can become damaged by excessive power consumption when switch

ing on the heating element.
