GENERAL INFORMATION
Prior to installation, please read completely through this man-
ual.
Cement will damage the grille surface. Keep the roll-down
grille in the original packaging until it is installed. Before insert-
ing the grille, the frame in the floor must have been completely
mounted.
The inspection and installation of the grille must be carried out
by qualified skilled personnel only in compliance with the cur-
rent regulations.
If, after reading through the manual, you have further ques-
tions, please contact the manufacturer or the local sales office.
WARRANTY
The device warranty will be for two years starting from the
handover date and shall apply to all production faults.
Also excluded from the warranty is damage caused by compo-
nents that are not part of the device itself.
The warranty only covers the return and replacement of de-
fective materials.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
SCHAKO shall not give any warranty for damage resulting from:
--- Improper use caused by ignoring the instructions given in
this manual
--- Non-observance of the operating conditions of the de-
vice.
--- Installation and maintenance by personnel without
proper qualification.
--- Improper use of the device or operation under conditions
not conforming to the manual.
RECYCLING
SCHAKO recommends to recycle the device compo-
nents at the end of service life of the device as
much as possible or reuse them. Components that
cannot be recycled must be properly disposed of by
an authorized disposal company in accordance with
current legal regulations.

DESIGNATED USE
The SCHAKO roll-down grille is a walk-on grille for installation
in convectors and floor ducts
Suitable for the interior use in non-corrosive areas.
On demand, a special version for the use in swimmings pools
is available. The grille cannot be used in areas surrounded by
or in contact with water (danger of slipping).
CONSTRUCTION
Grille with anodised aluminium blades and a free cross-section
of approx. 70%.

NOTE
If the grille is delivered rolled up, it is possbile that the length
directly after unpacking is larger than the ordered length. After
some hours, the grille will return to its predefined length.
