Chapter 5 : BIOS Setup

5.4 Flash BIOS :

5.4.1 Flash Tool

The board is based on Phoenix BIOS and can be updated easily by the BIOS
auto flash tool.
File name of the tool is “pflash.exe”, it’s the utility that can write the data into
the BIOS flash ship and update the BIOS.

5.4.2 Flash BIOS Procedure

1. Please make a bootable disk.
2. Get the last .bin files you want to update and copy it into the disk.
3. Copy “pflash.exe” and “Efildr16” to the disk.
4. Power on the system and flash the BIOS under the DOS environment.

( Example: ’’pflash_/cvar_/bbl_/sa_/silent_xxx.bin’’ )
Note: a. _ Underscore means Space
b. xxx.bin means the BIOS file that you want to update

5. The system will auto re-boot after finish update.
6. Please turn off the system and clean CMOS by Jumper.
7. Restart the system.
