TSG-FDC OWNER’S MANUAL

Attaching the Floating Blade Guard to the Dust Tube

Slide the floating blade guard (F) 
onto the end of the inner dust tube 
(E) until about 1” of the inner dust 
tube extends past the floating blade 
guard.

Slide a M6 x 1.0 x 40 button head 
socket screw (T) through the two 
holes in the clamping portion of the 
floating blade guard (F), with the 
threaded portion of the bolt facing 
towards the front of the floating 
blade guard.

It may be useful to loosen the spring 
tension knob on the rear side of the 
clamping portion of the floating blade 
guard so the spring can be pushed out of 
the way.

Secure the button head socket 
screw in place with a M6 x 1.0 lock 
nut (U), using a 4mm allen wrench 
and a 10mm wrench.
