Stairfriend Owner’s Manual

5. ADJUSTMENTS

Seat Adjustment (V-Seat)

If the seat will not stay folded up when the stairlift is not in use, perform the 
adjustment procedure below.

Lift up the seat and loosen the two lock-nuts as shown below.

Using an Allen key, tighten the set-screw in each lock-nut as shown below.

After tightening the set-screws, move the seat to ensure it will remain in the 
folded position.

4

Tighten the two lock-nuts.
