Interconnecting the Components
1.
Plug the AC power source to the power strip
(surge protected).
2.
Route the Cat 5 cables from the Media Dock Receiver to the Desktop Media Dock.
3.
Connect the Cat 5 cables from the Media Dock Receiver to the Desktop Media Dock
ports as follows:

After the components are installed and interconnected,

Connect either the 5V DC connector to the power strip or activate PoE for the Media
Dock Receiver.
6.
Connect either the 5V DC connector to the power strip or activate PoE for the Desktop
Media Dock.
Note:
Both power supplies are necessary.
7.
Configure the installation using RacePoint Blueprint
™
.
MDR-2000 Bracket Installation
Use the supplied screws to install the Side Mounting Brackets (071-0494-xx) to the MDR-
2000 as shown.
