Installation

Please fix the mounting brackets with the nuts on the F-Jacks of the main body as shown on the picture
below (use the 2 F-Jacks which are closest to the LNB-Inputs). Connect the 4 cables coming from LNB
(VL/HL/VH/HH) and the optional terrestrial antenna to the related inputs of the multi- switch. If you are
using a Quattro-LNB please make sure the outputs of the LNB are connected to the correct inputs of the
multiswtich (VL to VL / HL to HL / VH to VH / HH to HH). If you are using
a switchable QUAD-LNB you can use any cable from LNB to any input of
multiswitch.
Extension to more outputs

You can upgrade the basic unit
SATRIX iMS 58 G
(8 subscriber outputs) with the extension unit
SATRIX iMS 54 E
(4 subscriber outputs) or unit
SATRIX iMS 58 E
(8 subscriber outputs) up to a total
number of 48 subscribers. For the installation of one or several extension units please follow below
steps:
• Unplug the AC cable of the Unit

power supply from the mains.
• Release the screws on the left and right side of the ABS power supply housing.
• Unplug the power supply from the main body of the multiswitch

• Plug the extension unit (

) direct to the power supply and fix the power
supply with the screws.
• Plug the original main unit

to the extension unit (

and fix the units with the supplied screws.
• Make sure that no matter how many extension units are installed so that the first unit
• closest to LNB is the original main unit

The basic unit
SATRIX iMS 58 G
is equipped with an integrated terrestrial amplifier, which has
enough gain to supply a quality signal to the extension units. For this reason, it is necessary to
install the basic unit
SATRIX iMS 58 G
always as the first unit closest to the LNB and the extension
units between the basic unit and the power supply, otherwise the function can be affected.
