14 Network Setup

or
Wireless
Note for wireless connection you will need
the optional SatKing WL-85 wireless
dongle.
14.1 Wired LAN Connection
1. Connect your router to the ethernet
connection on the rear of the receiver.
2. Press OK on the wired option, if the LAN
cable is not connected or not connected to an
active router a prompt message asking you to
connect will appear.
3. To confirm that all connections are correct
and you are connected to the internet. On the
left side of Network Setup page you will see
"Connected" next to Cable, Network and
Internet.
4. If any of the 3 Network setup status icons
say disconnected check your router is
connected to the internet and check your
cabling.
5. Press Menu to return to live TV.
14.2 Wireless LAN Connection
1. Connect the optional wireless dongle
WL-85 is connected to one of the USB ports
on the rear of the receiver.
2. Press OK on the wireless option, the
receiver will scan for wireless networks.
Select your network and press OK.
3. Enter your network password and prees
the Blue key to save. This is the same wireless
password that you would enter in your laptop
or mobile devices also running off your
wireless router. If the the receiver fails to
connect, check your password and that you
are connected to the correct wireless access
point.
4. When the 3 network setup status icons on
the Network Status page are all "Connected"
the setup is complete.
5. Press Menu to return to live TV.
