M.2 M-Key Slot
To install the M.2 SSD device (type 2242/2280):
Please note: for different modules type, need to use corresponding standoff or
screw to fasten them.
If have a M.2 wifi/bluetooth card (2230), need to install the M.2 2230 first.
Use M.2 2230 + M.2 2242:
1.
Remove screw&standoff.
2.
Use standoff to fasten M.2 2230 first.
Align the notch on the M.2 2242 edge
connector with the tab in the slot.
Plug the M.2 2242 firmly into the slot at a
20-degree angle, and until it clicks into
place.
3.
Fasten M.2 2242 onto the standoff with
screw.
Use M.2 2230 + M.2 2280:
1.
Remove all screws and standoff.
2.
Use screw to fasten M.2 2230 first.
Align the notch on the M.2 2280 edge
connector with the tab in the slot.
Plug the M.2 2280 firmly into the slot at a
20-degree angle, and until it clicks into
place.
3.
Fasten M.2 2280 onto the nut with screw.
4.
Please keep the remaining standoff for use
when needed.
