The packing materials used for the appliance are recyclable. Should you wish to discard them,
please use the appropriate public containers for each kind of material.
SAFETY TIPS AND PRECAUTIONS

Please read this instruction carefully before using the appliance.
•
Unpack the appliance completely and check that it is working, since damage caused by
transportation may happen.
•
The used voltage must match the rated voltage listed on the label on the base of the coffee
maker.
•
Use only cold water.
•
Do not allow the power cord to touch the warm-plate.
•
When making coffee right after the coffee maker has been used, turn the coffee maker off
and let it cool down for 5 minutes. Then fill it again with cold water.
•
The coffee in the carafe will be kept warm while the coffee maker is on.
•
Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning it.
•
Keep the coffee maker out of the reach of children, as they are unaware of the hazards
inherent in electrical appliances.
•
To turn the coffee maker off, use the power switch. The pilot lamp will turn off, indicating
that the coffee maker is no longer in use.
•
Your coffee maker can use the permanent filter with which it is equipped.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
•
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
