Antitheft Alarm Function disable
This projector provides an Antitheft alarm function which
works when detecting a vibration to protect the projector
from a suspicious person.
Release the alarm setting
Press the
F button
and enter the four-digit PIN code
number within about 10 seconds. (The default PIN code is
set to “1111.”) When the alarm is released, you will hear a
high-pitched confirmation sound.
When you enter an incorrect PIN code, you will hear a low-
pitched sound. If you enter an incorrect PIN code three
times in a row, the alarm will start ringing.
If you forget the PIN code to release the alarm setting, press
and hold the
button 3
and
F button
at the same time for
more than 3 seconds.

Security Function Notice
Charge the built-in battery pack
As long as the AC power cord is connected, the built-in battery for
Alarm function is being charged at all times.
While charging the battery, “Charging” is displayed in the menu.
The “Charging” appears dimmed when the battery is fully charged
or if charging malfunction occurs.
Replace the rechargeable battery pack
Use only the specified battery for this projector. Using other types
of battery may cause accident or fire hazard.

Note:
• The PIN code and settings you have changed are effective even
after the battery is changed.
• When replacing the rechargeable battery pack, protect the
infrared remote receiver with a soft cloth to avoid damaging it.
• Unplug the battery connector if you carry your projector
frequently and use the carrying case. If you do not unplug the
battery connector, the alarm may be triggered when the Alarm
buttons are accidentally pressed inside the carrying case.
• The built-in battery pack is a consumable supply. Each time
you repeat discharge and recharge the battery, the battery life
will decrease. The battery will gradually discharge when left
for long periods even without use. If the full-charged battery
is left at normal temperature of 98°F (5°C), the battery will
gradually discharge and can be non-rechargeable after about 7
mouths. The battery life may vary from battery according to the
environment of use.
