Setting

Set the red frame pointer 

to the item and press the 

SELECT button.

Use the Point 

 

ed

 buttons 

to set the Lamp mode. 

Select from (Lamp1, Lamp2 

or Lamp 1/2).

Select [Yes] to 
activate it.

This Projector is equipped with 2 Projection Lamps.  This 

function allows you to choose how to use the lamp as follows. 

  Lamp1............ Always use Lamp 1.

  Lamp2 ...........  Always use Lamp 2.

  Lamp1/2.........  Automatically switch the active lamp from one  

lamp to the other .

Note:

  •  When Lamp 1 or Lamp 2 mode is switched to Lamp 

1/2 mode, the active lamp changes after the total 
lighting time of a currently used lamp exceeds 10 
hours. 

  • When the total lighting time of one lamp exceeds 

the recommended total hours of use in the Lamp 1/2 
mode, the Lamp mode will be switched to Lamp 1 or 
Lamp 2 mode automatically. Switching operation is 
done when the lamp is changed.

  •  Lamp mode cannot be changed for a while after  

turning on the projector. Lamp needs some time to 
stabilize after the power is turned on. Stored lamp 
mode will be active after the lamp is stabilized.

  • When the different lighting time of the lamps light 

alternately, you may recognize different brightness 
and white balance on each different lighting time of 
lamps.

    When you change the other lamp, we recommend 

you always use the other lamp which is not changed.

  •  When the Timer is set to “Off” and the total lighting 

time of one lamp exceeds 10 hours of use in the 
Lamp 1/2 mode, one lamp will be switched to the 
other lamp automatically. Switching operation is 
done when the projector is turned Off and On. 

  • When the projector is switched to Off/On (including 

Standby), Timer setting is reset to off.

  • When the Timer is set to “On” in the Lamp1/2 mode,
    the Lamp timer counter is displayed on the right side 

of the Lamp mode in the Information menu. (p.30)
