WARNING:
High voltages are used to operate this projector . Do not attempt to open the cabinet .
If problems still persist after following all operating instructions, contact the dealer where you purchased the
projector or the service center. Specify the model number and explain about the problem. We will advise
you how to obtain service.

The power is turned off
automatically .
– Power management function runs by initial setting. Check “Setting”
section on page 63.
– If you continue to use the projector without replacing the air filter cartridge
and resetting the filter counter after the filter cartridge replacement icon is
displayed, the power will switch off automatically approximately 10 hours
after projection starts in order to protect the optical parts. After this, the
power will switch off automatically 3 minutes after it is turned back on and
projection starts. (See pages 71, 87)
– Do not cover the ventilation slots on the projector. (See pages 4, 6)
– Projector may be used in high ambient temperature environment. Make
sure the temperature is not out of Operating Temperature (41˚F–104˚F
[5˚C–40˚C]). (See page 77)
you cannot operate
with the side control .
– If the side control is locked at "Key lock" under "Security" of Setting menu,
the side control is not available. Please check “Setting” section on page
65.
The Remote Control
does not work .
– Check the batteries.
– Check if the RC sensor is set properly. (See page 62)
– Make sure no obstruction is between the projector and remote control.
– Make sure you are not too far from the projector when using the remote
control.Maximum operating range is 16.4’ (5m). (See page 15)
– Make sure that the remote control code conforms to the projector’s code.
(See “SETTING” section on page 62.)
– Unlock the Key lock function for the remote control. (See page 65)
– Wireless remote control does not work when the remote control cable is
connected to the projector. (See page 15)
– Check if the ON/OFF switch on the remote control is set to “ON.”
– Make sure that the simple mode in the remote control function is set to Off
(See page 62).
Wireless mouse
function does not
work .
– Check the cable connection between the projector and your computer.

– Check the mouse setting on your computer.
– Turn on the projector before you turn on the computer.
Indicators blink or
light .
– Check the status of the projector with referring to “Indicators and projector
